Do your staff have DBS (previous CRB) checks?

Should a client require us to provide staff with either standard or enhanced DBS checks, we would be more than happy to meet the requirements.

On numerous occasions, we have carried out work in sensitive environments that have required our staff team to have had recent DBS checks carried out.

This is also an option for private clients should they prefer trades professionals with DBS checks working on their property.

What are the Chas and Safe Contractor accreditation schemes?

These are vetting processes intended to ensure that companies have the skills and knowledge to work under the safest conditions whilst undertaking any tasks in the workplace.

Companies that partake in the accreditation applications must prove that they fully comply with and understand health and safety within their industry.

This not only ensures the physical and financial safety of the company carrying out the work, but all parties involved.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment terms are set out within the Works Contract provided by us and signed by both parties prior to any work being carried out. These can differ from client to client depending on the size and length of the job.

Does your insurance cover any new work being carried out?

Yes it does.

Our insurance policy includes cover referred to as ‘Contract Works Insurance’. Where public liability covers a client for all parts of the property that already exist, the Contract Works insurance covers clients for any new work being carried out.

We chose to take this additional insurance cover out on our policy to provide our clients with added peace-of-mind.
